spring in the okanagan

what are the signs of spring - #1 - the big machinery is working behind my house again!
first blooms (asnowdrops, primroses budding, croci appearing, hyacinths poking thru
Richard taking loads of trees and prunings to dump, +10 with some sun
Laura left on Sun - we had a great visit and she had her 1st taste of spring when we toured around on Sat
Will, am not surprised that those tightwad slovaks are gouging for their pavillions - I thought they were ALL free.
Everyone seems to be enjoying Anne & Dels visit - good.

snow & hot springs

Its snowing today and the young folks are in Nakusp - well they went yesterday & are returning today - hope the roads are ok. Am expecting them for supper - Lisa has towork tonite at 7 so they shud be here 5:30 or so.
I'm feeling much better but not 100% so have an appt w/the doc tomorrow - Al plans on taking me (shes been nagging a bit) then we have some errands - her friend Annie will be here so I don't want to tie her up for long. For New Years Eve, I am making beef Wellington and Annie (a professional baker) is making a cake - know I will not last till midnite
